Cryboy Whinge #27143: Tevez Will Celebrate When He Scores Against ManUtd

welcome-to-the-end-of-your-careerYes, he’s at it again. Slowly the boy is becoming more annoying than the Sparky we know today. In a new episode (I could be wrong and it might be Whinge Episode 27144 already) the Argentinean escort loan player has now announced that contrarily to games against West Ham he will celebrate when he scores against Manchester United.

In the derby against United I had also decided not to celebrate our goals but, after the bad treatment I received from the supporters that day, I have changed my stance on that.

If I score in the next derby then I am sure that I will celebrate.

The emphasis here obviously is on when. We do not have to look far where he gets his inspiration from. There is the person we once loved and still want to respect but Mark Hughes has changed massively ever since he said at the press conference he was introduced as new Council House manager ‘I have played for other clubs as well’ but Tevez’s influencer is someone else. Man.Utd – Vfl. Wolfsburg Preview [CL]

manutd-vflwolfsburg

Tonight the Red Devils face the German Champions League debutants VFL Wolfsburg for the second game of the group stages in the Champions League. It is our first CL home game this season and we certainly hope the squad will continue their excellent run, a much better one than the Dippers, who lost their third competitive game already this season away at Fiorentina.

There have been minor injury and illness scares with Owen suffering a slight groin problem and Evra been ill but both should be fit. Busy and annoying worker bee Park Ji Sung has been ruled out due to illness. Otherwise the complete squad is available, also Brown and Ferdinand. The gaffer has not hinted at who will start but we can expect Foster in front of the net.

In other news, EVDS has returned to training and Owen Hargreaves returned home from the US to continue his rehabilitation at Carrington. The Canadian born England star is expected back within a month.

As usual there will be live updates on the Manchester United Blog Facebook page.

I think we’ll win 3-0. What do you think?

Dimitar Berbatov Hail Giggs

dimitar-berbatovThe Bulgarian record signing, who scored his second of the season on Saturday against Stoke, has hailed Ryan Giggs as the player who made the decisive impact at the Britannia Stadium.
The veteran United legend come on for the still inconsisted Portuguese Nani in the 60th minutes, only to follow up very quickly with a splicing assist Berbatov only had to tap in. The Red Devils took the lead and before the end whistle was blown Giggs had delivered a second assist which O’Shea nodded in.

Their is no doubt about the impact of the Welsh star this season and one can easily say ‘Who needs Cristiano Ronaldo? Mark Hughes does!’, but at the same time it is a rather disappointing and scary situation we are living right at the moment. One which could cost us the title if we don’t watch out. Read more »

EVDS Still Hungry: I Will Not Retire Before We Win The CL Again

Edwin van der SarOur Doyen, Edwin van der Sar has said that contrarily to expectations his career might continue after this season. It was uttered that he would decided in December whether he would continue next season or not but today he told The Mirror that he still is hungry and will not retire before Manchester United have won the Champions League again.

The two times CL winner, with Ajax before he won the Cup with the Big Ears with the Red Devils, is not worried about the threat Real madrid could pose either:

I am not concerned by what Real Madrid have done. It is all about the team spirit. Eleven Cristiano Ronaldos wouldn’t lead to success.

The #1 United goal keeper, who is rumoured to return on the international stage with the Netherlands in South Africa next summer, also said some wise words about the Portuguese winger:

Of course, Ronaldo was a big player for us. And we have to change our team a bit now. But we will do that. United is a lot bigger than Ronaldo.

Stoke City 0 – 2 Manchester United: Pictures

Yesterday’s game was a hard fought battle and in the first half Stoke City certainly tried to prove that they are better than what can be called ‘there are 6 or 7 teams who do not deserve to be in the Premier League’ and kept the game open for the first half hour.

But the experience and pure class of ManUtd resulted in another deserved win for the Red Devils, one which brings us to the top of the table for the first time in the 2009-2010 season.

And if we love to call Cantona ‘King Eric’, Ryan Giggs yesterday once more proved that he deserves to be called Emperor Ryan. Again he outperformed the illustrous and already forgotten Portuguese player who once used to tumble run up and down our pitch. Way to impress and show who are the Kings of England!

Before I write about the main problem we are facing this season, here’s some pictures of yesterday’s game.

Funny Pic #1

I do not know anymore where I found this picture or what the frack Paul Scholes and Pienaar do/did but funny it is. Apparently Pienaar just had received a yellow for a foul on Scholes.

Captions in the comments.

Back, Back with a Vengeance

Manchester United LogoHi all, long unworthy story short. Because of changes in personal and professional life I had no Manchester United blog to write on anymore. I used to frequently write on Manchester United blog but that is not anymore. While I needed some time to reorganise life and job, I continued to update our Manchester United Blog Facebook page with great stride and success I think.

But things couldn’t stay out long anymore and I needed space to write about our Favourite team again. All while working at the newest project, 6dorks I decided that I could as well write here and hope to create a small, new site for all of us.

I am looking forward again to update on a regular base about the Red Devils and if someone wants to join me in this venture, please contact me via my personal site, iFranky.

You can also follow us Manchester United Blog on Twitter. Do it, you know you want to. :)

Glory, glory ManUtd!
